The Patient Care Tech (PCT) Cohort at Medical City Healthcare is a comprehensive 12-week program that sets you up for success. Earn While You Learn: Get Paid Hospital Experience
What sets our program apart is the “earn while you learn” model. As part of the cohort, you will be hired as a PRN Patient Safety Attendant (PSA). This means you’ll be working one 12-hour shift per week at one of our Medical City hospitals while you complete your PCT training. This paid position provides invaluable hospital experience and a steady income as you work towards obtaining your Texas State certification as a Patient Care Tech.
