Enrollment and Registration Details
To ensure the safety and organization of our program, all parents must register their child/children for the before/aftercare program prior to attendance. Currently, we are accepting full-time students into our after care program port st lucie. All payments for before and aftercare services are conveniently processed through the myschoolbucks website. A one-time registration fee of $35.00 is required and can be paid on myschoolbucks.com.
Operating Hours: Before and After Care
Our Before Care program operates from 6:30 am to 7:00 am, providing early morning supervision for students. The Aftercare program runs from 3:50 pm to 6:00 pm, extending care after school hours. Please note that care is not offered during student holidays or school closures.
Arrival and Departure Procedures
For Before Care, children should be brought to the cafeteria side doors. For safety reasons, students are not permitted in the school building unsupervised before 6:30 am, and parents must not leave children unattended outside the building.
After Care departure follows a car loop pick-up system to ensure the safety of all children. Children will only be released to individuals listed on the registration form. Parents or guardians may be required to show photo identification and the designated car tag for verification. Student pick-up begins at 4:00 pm, and all students must be picked up by 6:00 pm.
Late Pick-Up Policy and Fees
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes cause delays. However, to maintain program schedules and staffing, late pick-up fees are strictly enforced. A late fee of $30.00 per child will be charged for pick-ups after 6:01 pm.
Our late pick-up policy is as follows:
- First Late Pick-Up: A late fee of $30.00 per child will be charged.
- Second Late Pick-Up: The student will be suspended from the after care program.
- Third Late Pick-Up: For the third late pick-up, for the safety and well-being of the child, authorities including the Police and Department of Children and Families (DCF) will be contacted.
Aftercare Curriculum and Daily Activities

Student Behavior and Discipline Guidelines
Maintaining a respectful and safe environment is paramount. Students in our after care program port st lucie are expected to exhibit respectful behavior at all times. Our discipline policy is designed to be fair and progressive:
- Students who receive three disciplinary write-ups will be terminated from the Before/Aftercare program.
- Behavior deemed disrespectful or harmful to others will not be tolerated.
- Any student who physically injures another person will be immediately terminated from the program. Such behavior is considered serious and requires immediate attention.
We expect all students to follow these basic school rules within the Before/Aftercare program:
- Demonstrate appropriate behavior at all times – before, during, and after school activities.
- Be courteous and respectful to peers and staff.
- Electronic devices, including phones, must be stored in backpacks and are not to be used during program hours.
- The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Any form of fighting or physical aggression.
- Intimidation, bullying, harassment, or threatening behavior towards others.
- Use of profane language, gestures, or inappropriate behaviors.
- Damage or destruction of property belonging to the school or others.
- Leaving assigned before/aftercare areas without explicit permission from program counselors.
