The medical center’s recognized strengths in cardiovascular medicine, emergency services, surgery, neuroscience, oncology, and women’s health, combined with the co-located Advocate Children’s Hospital – Oak Lawn, create an exceptional setting for comprehensive family medicine training. The Advocate Children’s Hospital adds further depth to our program, featuring 45 private inpatient rooms, a 15-bed pediatric intensive care unit, and a 9-bed pediatric surgical heart unit.

Our program features a diverse patient population, on-site Pediatrics rotations at Advocate Children’s Hospital, a valuable Home Visit and Nursing Home Visit program, and plentiful opportunities to gain proficiency in a wide range of procedures.
