As a Level 1 trauma center – one of only four in the Chicagoland area – and home to a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the medical center provides a wide array of inpatient and outpatient services. To enhance pediatric radiology expertise, the program includes three months of dedicated training at Lurie Children’s Hospital, the preeminent pediatric teaching hospital in the region. Additionally, residents receive one month of specialized training in Nuclear Medicine at Loyola University, broadening their skill set and knowledge base.
