Agthia Group PJSC, a prominent food and beverage company in the region, underscores its commitment to developing local talent through its flagship Agthia TATWEER leadership development program. A recent graduation ceremony in Abu Dhabi celebrated the achievements of 29 employees who completed key courses within this initiative, highlighting the success of the Agthia Advance Career Enhancement Program (ACEP) and the National Talent Integration Program (NTIP).
The Agthia Advance Career Enhancement Program (ACEP) stands out as a cornerstone of Agthia’s strategy to nurture Emirati leaders. Nineteen employees successfully graduated from ACEP after dedicating two years to intensive learning across 10 comprehensive training modules. This advanced program is meticulously designed to build upon the foundational Career Enhancement Program, preparing Emirati employees for significant leadership roles within the company. ACEP delves into critical areas such as innovation, strategic thinking, and business simulation, equipping participants with the sophisticated skills necessary for high-level management and decision-making in the competitive food and beverage industry.
In parallel, the National Talent Integration Program (NTIP) celebrated the graduation of 10 employees. This 7-month program, encompassing 8 modules, is specifically tailored to facilitate the seamless integration of Emirati nationals into Agthia’s corporate environment. NTIP focuses on providing new talents with essential skills, in-depth industry know-how, and a strong understanding of Agthia’s culture, ensuring they are well-prepared to excel in their careers and contribute effectively to the company’s objectives.
Tariq Ahmed Al Wahedi, CEO of Agthia Group, emphasized the strategic importance of Emiratization and employee development, stating, “Developing Emirati talent in Agthia and driving meaningful Emiratization, as directed by our leadership, has been critical to our growth and success, and has always been something we take very seriously.” He further added, “We have made sure our employees have access to world-class training to be ready to lead the company today and in the future,” underscoring Agthia’s investment in creating a robust leadership pipeline through programs like ACEP.
Mubarak Al Mansoori, Chief Human Capital and Corporate Services Officer at Agthia Group, highlighted the impactful design of the TATWEER program, noting, “Our training and development programs have all been carefully designed to be impactful, insightful and above all, truly educational. TATWEER Program has been critical to our long-term succession planning to ensure we always have the right people, the right skillsets and the right strategy to operate what has become one the region’s most productive, innovative and successful F&B groups.”
The TATWEER platform serves as the overarching umbrella for all of Agthia’s talent development initiatives, including both ACEP and NTIP. This comprehensive platform reflects Agthia’s dedication to sustainable leadership succession and its proactive approach to nurturing internal talent. By investing in programs like the Agthia Advance Career Enhancement Program, Agthia Group not only strengthens its workforce but also contributes significantly to the Emiratization goals of the UAE, fostering a skilled and empowered national workforce within the dynamic food and beverage sector. The success of these programs demonstrates Agthia’s ongoing commitment to excellence in employee development and its strategic vision for sustained growth and leadership in the region.
