Tallangatta Health Service (THS) is dedicated to empowering individuals on their health journey, operating under the Health Services Act 1988 (VIC) and guided by the Minister of Health’s delegation. As a vital rural health service, we are supported by the Department of Health (Victoria) for public health services and receive crucial aged care funding from the Department of Health (Commonwealth). Our commitment is reflected in our Strategic Directions 2018-2027 framework, with a clear vision: ‘Empowering People for Health.’ We strive to ensure our care is relevant, safe, of high quality, and responsive to the evolving needs of our community.
Our strategic priorities are central to everything we do. We focus on providing care that is relevant, safe, high quality and responsive. Planning for the future, we ensure our infrastructure meets the long-term needs of our community. We actively cultivate connections by partnering with our communities. Finally, we are committed to maintaining a workforce that is adaptive, skilled, and compassionate. Regular reports detailing our progress towards these strategic goals are presented to the Board, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
