Program Requirements include:
- Completing the online volunteer application.
- Providing references to vouch for your character and reliability.

Junior Volunteer School Year Program: Serve Your Community During the Academic Year
Are you interested in contributing to Arkansas Children’s Hospital throughout the school year? The School Year Junior Volunteer Program offers continuous volunteer placements in various hospital departments, all focused on enhancing the experience for patients and their families. School Year junior volunteers are required to commit to 36 hours of service between August and May. Service opportunities are primarily available during weekdays (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) and during school breaks due to staff supervision availability. Please plan your availability accordingly and ensure you obtain school approval if volunteering during school hours.
