American Residential Services (ARS/Rescue Rooter), a leading national provider of HVAC and plumbing services, is once again launching its esteemed Ars Cares Program. This initiative is designed to give back to the communities ARS serves by awarding deserving individuals with free HVAC systems or water heaters. The fall season marks the rollout of the latest edition of this impactful program.
Scott Boose, CEO of ARS, emphasized the company’s commitment to community support, stating, “As we approach the season of giving, ARS is dedicated to recognizing and supporting the unsung heroes within our communities.” He further added, “From dedicated veterans to tireless first responders and selfless community volunteers, countless individuals positively impact the lives of those around them. While we wish we could acknowledge every deserving person, the ARS Cares program allows us to express our gratitude to select individuals by providing them with essential, high-quality products and services at no cost.”
Since its inception in 2016, the ARS Cares program has demonstrated a significant commitment to community welfare, having contributed over $1.3 million in equipment and services across the United States. Past recipients embody the spirit of community heroism, including military veterans who have served the nation and, notably in 2020, over 70 front-line healthcare heroes across 24 states during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. These healthcare professionals received vital HVAC and water systems, highlighting the program’s responsiveness to community needs in times of crisis.
For those interested in learning more or participating in the nomination process, a comprehensive list of participating ARS companies is readily available on the company’s website at www.ars.com/ars-cares. Residents within the service areas of these companies are encouraged to nominate individuals they believe are worthy of recognition through the ARS Cares program. The selection process for eligible recipients will take place in November, with criteria focusing on both community impact and demonstrated financial need. Installations of the awarded equipment are scheduled to be carried out in late November and early December, ensuring recipients benefit during the colder months.
“Our dedicated ARS team members, who live and work within these communities, are incredibly proud to give back through the ARS Cares program,” Boose concluded. “During this season of giving, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to support the selfless heroes who consistently give so much to others.”
