If you are uninsured or underinsured, and concerned about the expense of medical care, the Parkview Charity Care Program may be able to help. Eligibility for financial assistance is based on household income and medical need. Our dedicated financial counselors are here to guide you through the application process and determine if you qualify for assistance. This program can provide significant discounts, potentially up to 100 percent for those who meet federal poverty guidelines. We are committed to working with you to make healthcare accessible.
Beyond discounts, Parkview also offers flexible, no-interest payment plans to help manage medical expenses. Our financial counselors can also assist you in exploring other support programs, such as Medicaid and state-specific assistance initiatives, to ensure you receive the comprehensive support you need.

The quickest and easiest way to apply for the Parkview Charity Care Program is through our secure online patient portal. Follow these simple steps to access the application:
- Log in to your Parkview Patient Portal account.
- Navigate to the “Billing” or “Financial Services” section in the main menu.
- Find your current balance and click on “View Balance Details”.
- You should see a link or button labeled “Apply for Charity Care” or similar, typically located under a section like “Need help paying your balance?” Click this link to begin your application.

Parkview Access Care Initiative
The Parkview Access Care Initiative reflects our commitment to the community, ensuring that healthcare cost is not a barrier to receiving essential services. Inspired by state and federal guidelines that support hospital discounted care, this initiative aims to provide relief to low-income patients. Individuals and families with incomes at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG) are eligible for the Parkview Access Care Initiative, which significantly reduces the amount patients may be billed for necessary healthcare services received at Parkview hospitals and emergency departments. This also extends to providers working within our facilities. Parkview is dedicated to informing patients about this option and providing the opportunity to apply for discounted care whenever they receive services.
