Our comprehensive Wound Care services address the needs of a wide range of patients, including those with peripheral artery disease (PAD), diabetes, renal failure, and other conditions that can lead to complex wounds. We offer a full spectrum of advanced wound care treatments, complemented by our highly respected hyperbaric medicine program. Led by nationally recognized specialists, our hyperbaric program utilizes five state-of-the-art hyperbaric chambers to accelerate wound healing and improve patient outcomes. Role of the Wound Care Program Director

As the Wound Care Program Director, you will provide administrative and strategic leadership for all wound healing services across Montefiore Health System. This encompasses the design, implementation, and management of a comprehensive framework that integrates clinical, operational, and financial aspects of wound care. You will collaborate closely with administrative leaders across various services, including ambulatory, inpatient, nursing home, and hyperbaric medicine, to execute a unified strategy aligned with the Family & Social Medicine mission and strategic plan.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership and accountability for Wound Healing Services across inpatient and ambulatory care sites within Montefiore Health System.
  • Directly managing and supervising the wound care team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Collaborating with operational leadership to provide expert guidance for both inpatient and outpatient wound services, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Developing, monitoring, and acting upon clinical, financial, and operational metrics to continuously improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Staying at the forefront of wound care advancements by regularly researching and maintaining expert knowledge of the latest evidence-based practices and novel approaches. You will disseminate this knowledge across the care team, promoting continuous learning and improvement.
  • Analyzing current and future growth trends in wound care services to proactively propose or revise programs, ensuring Montefiore remains at the leading edge of patient care and service offerings.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with business and clinical leaders to develop business plans, impact analyses, and workforce plans that support program growth, success, and optimal clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.
