We are dedicated to empowering interns and recent graduates to take the reins of their career journey from day one. Before embarking on your Marsh adventure, you will select between two enriching career paths: Client Management or Risk Practices. Throughout the interview process, you will delve deeper into these career paths and rank your preferred business groups. This collaborative approach ensures we align your placement with your aspirations and skill set. We offer comprehensive micro-learning sessions to guide you through the application and interview stages, helping you understand each role and proactively shape your career trajectory. Upon successful completion of the final interview rounds, and if you receive an offer, we will match you with a placement that resonates with your interests, skills, and current business needs. You will be strategically placed within a specific business group and actively participate within an account team, ensuring your contributions are both hands-on and impactful from the outset.
As an Account Specialist within the client management career path:
- You will cultivate expertise in client relationships, focusing on client retention, new business acquisition, and the provision of seamless day-to-day account services.
- Potential business placements include Asia Client Services, Corporate, and Global Risk Management (GRM).
As an Associate Broker within the risk practices career path:
- You will develop into a product specialist, gaining in-depth technical knowledge of diverse risks and insurance coverage products, managing vital interactions between insurance markets and clients.
- Potential business placements include Casualty, Property, and Qualified Solutions Group (QSG) OR Specialized Groups such as Construction, Credit, Healthcare, and Life Sciences, among others.
A Day in the Life: What to Expect
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Brokers to devise innovative strategies and marketing plans for business renewals and new business development.
- Analyze and evaluate insurance quotes, meticulously comparing coverage offerings to best suit client needs.
- Engage in strategic negotiation of terms and coverages with underwriters to secure optimal outcomes for clients.
- Generate and expand comprehensive benchmarking reports to provide insightful data analysis.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients and global insurance markets, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations for client meetings and prospective client engagements.
- Create and present internal and external renewal strategy documents, ensuring alignment and clarity.
- Work closely with senior colleagues on high-impact, high-level projects, gaining invaluable experience.

Application Essentials
- Must be a current Senior with an anticipated graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025 to be eligible for the 2025 Marsh Early Career Program.
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application and program start date.

- Must possess permanent legal work authorization in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship, now or in the future (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Green Card holder at the time of application).

Marsh McLennan embraces a hybrid work model, offering the flexibility of remote work alongside the invaluable collaboration, connection, and professional development benefits of in-office engagement. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to work from their local office or client sites at least three days per week. Office-based teams will designate at least one “anchor day” per week for full team in-person collaboration.
The base salary range for this role is $68,000 to $79,000 annually, commensurate with location.
