Enrollment for the Adventure Club after school program for the 2024-2025 school year is now open! This enriching program is available for students in kindergarten through 5th grade at all district elementary schools, with the exception of Topping Elementary. For pre-school options, please contact the Early Education Center directly at 816-321-5250. Adventure Club provides a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children after the school day ends, supporting their development and offering a valuable resource for working families. The program is designed to not only provide care but also to foster essential skills and experiences that can contribute to a child’s future success and even lay the foundation for future career paths by encouraging exploration, teamwork, and personal growth from a young age.
2024-2025 School Year Registration Details
The Adventure Club program will commence on June 12, 2024, for modified schedule schools (Crestview and Winnwood), and on August 20, 2024, for all other schools within the district. Registration is conveniently accessible through the parent portal and operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration is encouraged to secure your child’s spot. You can complete the registration process from any desktop, laptop, or mobile device, ensuring ease of access for all parents. A non-refundable and non-transferable registration fee of $50 per child is required at the time of enrollment for all schools except Crestview and Winnwood. For Modified Schools (Crestview and Winnwood), the registration fee is $55 per child, and this fee is also non-refundable and non-transferable. It’s important to note that your registration is only considered complete once the fee is paid and you have received an initial confirmation email confirming your submission. Following this, a second confirmation email from the Adventure Club office will be sent upon review and approval of your application. Detailed information regarding pricing and operating calendars can be found through the links provided below. All Adventure Club online registrations must be processed through the parent portal; walk-in or phone enrollments are not accepted. New families can easily create an account using the purple “Open Account New Parents” section in the portal. If your chosen site appears to be full, please contact the Adventure Club office at 816-321-5017 to inquire about being added to the waitlist. Please be aware that waitlist spaces are limited at each location.
Checking for Openings and Understanding Waitlist Options
To easily check if there are still openings at your child’s school, please follow these simple steps:
- Navigate to the purple box within the registration portal and click the green register button.
- Click the green register button associated with the School Year 2024-25.
- Enter your email address when prompted and click continue.
- Click on “view detail by site” in the gold banner to see site-specific information.
- If a site is listed as “closed,” it indicates that there are no seats currently available. In this case, you may call 816-321-5017 to check if seats are available on your school’s waitlist.
Adventure Club maintains a waitlist at every elementary school with the exception of Topping Elementary. If your desired program is full, adding your child to the waitlist is recommended. Given the limited number of spaces on each school’s waitlist, prompt action is advised. To add your child to a waitlist, please call 816-321-5017. It is important to understand that waitlists are program-specific (either school year or summer) and do not transfer between programs. For example, if your child was on the 2024 summer waitlist, this does not automatically place them on the 2024-2025 school year waitlist. Waitlist status is valid until the end of the respective program period. There is no fee to be added to the waitlist.
Important Information for Gashland Families
For the 2024-25 school year, due to staffing considerations, the Gashland Adventure Club will continue to be combined with Clardy. This means that families who attend Gashland will drop off and pick up their children at Clardy. Bus service will be provided to safely transport students to and from Gashland for their school day. When enrolling your Gashland child, please ensure you select Clardy as the designated school in the registration portal.
Program Hours, Monthly Tuition, and Assistance

Tuition is billed monthly and is due on the 1st of each month, and considered late if payment is made after midnight on the 15th of the month.
