Stephanie Neuman – Owner/Director
Stephanie Neuman, the owner and director of Kountry Kids Learning Center, Inc., is deeply rooted in the local community, being raised in Girard, IL. Her strong family values and local upbringing are reflected in the caring atmosphere of KKLC. Stephanie’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special Education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Before opening KKLC, she served as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher within the Sangamon Area Special Education District at New Berlin Elementary and Ball/Chatham Elementary for four years. Her experience in the New Berlin school district provides valuable insight into the needs of local families seeking after school care. Stephanie furthered her expertise with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Administration from National-Louis University. Her leadership and vision are central to KKLC’s commitment to providing exceptional after school care programs.
Kris Neuman – Owner
Kris Neuman, a lifelong resident of New Berlin and co-owner of KKLC, brings a strong connection to the community. A graduate of New Berlin High School and Lincoln Land Community College with an Associates Degree in Business Administration, Kris fulfills his dream of serving his community through KKLC. Beyond KKLC, Kris is involved in his family’s farm, highlighting his commitment to the New Berlin area. His dedication ensures that KKLC remains a locally-focused and community-oriented provider of after school care programs.
Eliza Weiters – Assistant Director
Eliza Weiters, the Assistant Director and lead PreK 2 teacher, is another local talent from Pleasant Plains. She holds both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Administration from National Louis University. Eliza’s long tenure at KKLC, starting in 2013, has allowed her to work across various classrooms and age groups, providing a well-rounded understanding of child development and care needs within the center. Her experience is invaluable to the quality of KKLC’s after school care programs.
Rachel Bandy – PreK 1 Teacher
Rachel Bandy, our PreK 1 teacher, obtained her CDA in 2008 and is currently pursuing her associates degree at Lincoln Land Community College, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to professional development in early childhood education. Living in New Berlin with her family, Rachel is invested in the local community. Since joining KKLC in 2019, she has brought her passion for child interaction to the PreK 1 program, enriching our offerings for younger children in after school care.
Makenna Dawdy – Two Year Old Teacher & Administrative Support
Makenna Dawdy is a New Berlin native, holding an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Lincoln Land Community College and a Bachelor’s from National Louis University. Currently pursuing her Master’s degree at National Louis University, Makenna exemplifies continuous growth in her field. Since joining KKLC in 2020, Makenna has taught two-year-olds and provides administrative support, showcasing her versatility and dedication to the center’s smooth operation and the well-being of children in our care, including after school programs.
Aubrey Guillen – Newborn Teacher
Aubrey Guillen, our Newborn teacher, has dedicated her career to Early Childhood Education since joining KKLC in 2018. With a bachelor’s degree from Western University, Aubrey’s passion for nurturing and teaching young children is evident in her daily work. Her commitment extends beyond the classroom as her son, Alexander, also grows up within the KKLC environment. Luanne Loving – Versatile Staff Member
Luanne Loving brings a wealth of experience from both the medical and childcare fields. Her diverse background includes volunteering with EMS for New Berlin and working with New Berlin Schools, further strengthening her ties to the local community. Lisa McQueen – Administrative Assistant
Lisa McQueen, our Administrative Assistant, joined KKLC in 2020 and holds an Associates degree in Office Administration. Originally from Ohio but now residing in the Franklin area, Lisa is deeply invested in the KKLC community, with her children, Jaxson and Gracelynn, also enjoying the center. Lisa’s organizational skills and administrative expertise are essential to the smooth running of KKLC, supporting all programs including after school care through efficient management.
Heather Pidcock – Part-time Teacher/Helper
Heather Pidcock has been a part of the KKLC family since 2018, working as a part-time teacher and helper. Also working full time at New Berlin School District, Heather has a deep understanding of the local educational landscape. Living in Loami with her family, Heather’s connection to the New Berlin area and experience in the school district enhances her contribution to KKLC and its after school care programs.
Tiffany Thompson – School Age Program Teacher
Tiffany Thompson has been with KKLC since 2008 and works specifically in the School Age Program, making her directly involved with after school care. A New Berlin High School graduate, Tiffany’s long tenure at KKLC and focus on the School Age Program provide consistent and experienced care for older children in our after school programs. Her passion for art and outdoor play enriches the after school experience for children at KKLC.
Courtney Finch – Toddler Teacher
Courtney Finch joined KKLC in 2021 and enjoys working with toddlers. Her love for outdoor activities and family time resonates with the nurturing environment at KKLC. Kylee Cully – Two Year Old Teacher

Living in Franklin with her family and being involved in her family farm, Kylee brings a strong work ethic and community spirit to KKLC.
